
MISSISSIPPI — Law enforcement agencies across Lafayette County conducted a large-scale drug roundup that resulted in dozens of arrests, according to officials.
Authorities said agencies from across the county worked together in the operation, which led to more than 60 people being taken into custody.
According to officials, a total of 68 individuals were arrested during the roundup. Those arrested are accused of drug-related offenses and other felony charges.
The operation was part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to reduce illegal drug activity and related crimes in the area.
Officials said the roundup involved multiple agencies working together to identify and apprehend suspects connected to ongoing investigations.
