$50,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — Magnolia resident struck it big this week, winning $50,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s Billion scratch-off game.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home $36,000.

The winning ticket was sold at Rockys, located at 224 N Mill Rd in Waynesburg.

Billion is a $50 scratch-off game offering a top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years.

As of May 28, two top prizes remain unclaimed.
