$20,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A Lancaster resident has claimed the top prize in the Ohio Lottery’s Cash Explosion Cashword game.

The winner secured a $20,000 prize after scratching the $2 ticket. After required state and federal taxes, he will receive $14,575.

The winning ticket was sold at Sunoco Food Mart, located at 182 E. 6th Ave. in Lancaster.

Cash Explosion Cashword is a $2 scratch-off with a top prize of $20,000. As of December 3, 2025, the Ohio Lottery reports that 11 top prizes remain.
