
KENTUCKY — The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested 13 people during a large-scale drug roundup this week following several months of investigation. Officials dubbed the operation “September to Remember.”
The arrests included the following individuals and charges:
- Kayla E. Philpot, 33, London — possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Michael Fields, 50, London — trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
- Dakota Mayfield, 39, Corbin — three counts of trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine); possession of marijuana.
- Christopher Sean Bowling, 38, London — multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); warrant for stolen property (over $1,000 but under $10,000); fleeing or evading police (on foot); second complaint warrant for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia; failure to appear in court on charges of wanton endangerment (police officer victim) and fleeing or evading police (on foot).
- Charles W. Asher, 46, East Bernstadt — possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Ian G. Mounts, 48, London — possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Michael Lyons, 35, Pine Knot — possession of a controlled substance.
- Robbie Dale Gray, 51, Manchester — possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Richard R. Marquez, 71, London — possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Deborah Wagers, 55, London — multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana); bench warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of operating on a suspended or revoked license.
- Paul G. Duncil, 58, London — probation violation related to possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
- Chelsie Sandlin, 31, London — show cause warrant for failure to pay child support.
- Dempsey Delph, 57, Manchester — trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine); trafficking a controlled substance; intimidating a participant in the legal process.
All suspects were taken to area detention centers.
The sheriff’s office said additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
