NORTH CAROLINA — A North Carolina lottery player is $100,000 richer following Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing.
The winning numbers for Feb. 25, 2026 were 50, 52, 54, 56, 64 and Powerball 23. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
While no ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $217 million jackpot — which carried a $101.3 million cash value — one ticket sold in North Carolina matched four numbers plus the Powerball to claim a $100,000 prize.
Lottery officials have not yet released details on where in North Carolina the winning ticket was purchased. Winners are advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the North Carolina Education Lottery to begin the claims process.
The Powerball jackpot will increase for the next drawing as players across the country continue vying for the top prize.
