NORTH CAROLINA — A North Carolina lottery player is celebrating a $100,000 win following Monday night’s Powerball drawing on February 23, 2026.
The winning numbers were 5, 11, 23, 29, 47, with the Powerball number 6. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 2x. The estimated jackpot stood at $203 million, with a cash value of $94.4 million.
While no ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot, one ticket sold in North Carolina matched four white balls plus the Powerball and included the Power Play option, doubling the standard $50,000 prize to $100,000.
Lottery officials have not yet announced where in North Carolina the winning ticket was purchased.
The Powerball jackpot will now roll over for the next drawing as players across the country continue their bid for the growing grand prize.
