OHIO — A 42-year-old woman was fatally shot inside a vehicle on Broadway Avenue Wednesday morning, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.

Officers responded to the 7700 block of Broadway Avenue around 9:45 a.m. on November 27 after receiving a ShotSpotter notification of gunfire.

Upon arrival, they found the woman inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.

No arrests have been made, and the victim’s identity has not yet been released.
