OHIO — A lucky Ohio Lottery player is $100,000 richer after purchasing a winning Powerball ticket in Lordstown for Saturday’s drawing.

The winning numbers for the February 24 drawing were 7-18-22-50-65, with a Powerball of 15 and a Power Play of 2.

The ticket was sold at Lordstown Speed Check, located at 6565 Todd Ave in Lordstown. The winner matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball, earning a third-tier prize of $50,000.

Since they also matched the Power Play number, their winnings doubled to $100,000. The ticket was purchased using the auto-pick option.

The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize, which remains unclaimed as of February 24.

The next Powerball drawing on Wednesday offers a jackpot estimated at $230 million.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education. More information on the lottery and its impact on schools can be found at www.ohiolottery.com/supportingeducation.
