OHIO — Strong winds swept across the area Thursday morning, leaving thousands without electricity.
As of early Thursday, roughly 4,390 customers were without power, according to utility reports.
The largest concentration of outages was in Parma in Cuyahoga County, where crews have been working to restore service.
Some estimated restoration times extend into the evening as repairs continue.
The outages come as multiple counties remain under a winter storm warning and a lake effect snow warning, with challenging weather conditions expected to persist throughout the day.
