NORTH CAROLINA — A 26‑year‑old man wanted in connection with a 2024 fraud investigation was taken into custody Saturday, June 14, by officers from the Kinston Police Department’s B‑Squad.
Police said they located the suspect, identified only as Johnson, on West New Bern Road and arrested him without incident.
Officers served him with eight outstanding felony warrants related to fraud.
During the arrest, authorities discovered more than 30 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, leading to additional charges:
