OHIO — A man wanted on multiple felony charges was arrested Wednesday evening following a joint effort by the Richmond Police Department, the United States Marshals Service, and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Daeclint Farris was taken into custody on several charges, including violent felon in possession of a firearm (fourth-degree felony), intimidation with a firearm (fifth-degree felony), and criminal recklessness with a firearm (sixth-degree felony).

Richmond Police Chief Kyle Weatherly credited the arrest to cooperation among law enforcement agencies.

“This is what building real partnerships and networking is about. When law enforcement agencies actually work together, violent offenders are brought to justice,” Weatherly said.

He added that the arrest should serve as a warning to others considering criminal activity. “We will hunt you down and bring you to justice no matter where you run. The men and women of RPD working alongside law enforcement from across the country will find you and arrange your meeting with the judge.”
