VIRGINIA — Virginia State Police, in coordination with local and federal agencies, recovered 32 firearms, 68 pounds of narcotics, and three explosive devices during a series of investigations conducted between May 8 and May 14 across the Commonwealth.
According to police, the recovered firearms are valued at approximately $18,000. The seized narcotics—estimated to have a street value of over $463,000—include:
In addition to the drugs, authorities recovered $76,755 in cash related to narcotics investigations. Three explosive devices were also safely neutralized.
During the same period, police received eight gaming-related tips, bringing the total number of such tips to 1,501.
As part of ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking, Virginia State Police received 35 new tips, with 205 cases investigated or currently under investigation.
To date, 937 human trafficking tips have been received, leading to 2,889 investigative actions and 64 victims identified and offered services.
