VIRGINIA — UPDATE: The shelter-in-place has been lifted, but no other information has been released by the school.

Graham High School is currently under a shelter-in-place order as of Thursday morning, keeping all students in their classrooms until further notice.
School officials say the measure was taken out of caution and stressed that there is no immediate danger to students or staff.
“It is a situation that we need students to stay in classrooms until the situation is resolved. Everyone is safe,” the school stated in its announcement on Facebook.
The order will remain in effect until it is lifted by school administrators.
