INDIANA — A Saturday morning crash on Interstate 469 created significant traffic delays and led to lane closures, according to state transportation officials.
The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on I-469 northbound at the 26.6-mile marker, between Maysville Road and Wheelock Road. Authorities said one person suffered minor injuries.
INDOT’s TrafficWise reported that the westbound lanes of I-469 are closed from Maysville Road to Maplecrest Road due to the crash. Emergency crews are on scene working to clear the area.
Drivers are advised to avoid the stretch of roadway until lanes reopen.
