Vehicle crash closes part of I-90 in Ohio

OHIO — A crash early Saturday morning on I-90 East near West 46th Street temporarily shut down both directions of the highway and caused damage that affected westbound traffic.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, a truck struck the center median on I-90 East around 6:25 a.m., damaging the wall and scattering debris onto the westbound lanes near West 41st and West 44th Streets.

Cleveland Fire officials said the debris included nails, which caused flat tires for several vehicles.

Cleveland Police reported that the debris spread across three high-speed lanes on I-90 West.

No injuries have been reported. I-90 West has since reopened after cleanup efforts.
