OHIO — The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Shaheed Mincy, who is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting at an East Cleveland gas station.
Mincy is accused of shooting and killing 45-year-old Maher Salti of Strongsville during a suspected robbery on Feb. 11.
According to investigators, Salti had gone to the gas station at Noble and Nelamere Roads around 6:30 p.m. to sell an iPad when he was shot during the transaction.
Salti was transported by EMS to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities are also working to identify a second suspect believed to be involved in the incident.
A surveillance photo of the unidentified suspect was released several weeks after the shooting.
