U.S. Marshals searching for wanted fugitive in Ohio

OHIO — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is seeking help locating a man wanted for parole violations.

Jamel Smith, 32, is wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority and the United States Marshals Service.

Authorities say Smith is known to frequent the Youngstown area, as well as Cuyahoga and Summit counties.

Smith is described as a Black man, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the task force at 1-866-4WANTED or submit a tip online. All tips can remain anonymous, and reward money may be available.
