
OHIO — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of fugitive Luther Payne.
According to the task force, Payne, 45, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service after walking away from a federal halfway house. He was originally charged by the Drug Enforcement Administration for federal drug violations.
Payne is described as a white male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. Authorities said he is known to frequent the Cleveland area.
Anyone with information about Payne’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or submit a web tip through the task force’s website. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and a reward is available for information leading to his arrest.
