OHIO — U.S. Marshals are offering a reward for information leading to the capture of a fugitive wanted in connection with an attempted murder case.
According to the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, Xavier Smith is wanted on multiple charges, including attempted murder, felonious assault, strangulation, domestic violence and kidnapping.
Authorities said Smith is known to frequent the Cleveland area.
Officials described Smith as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.
Anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or submit a tip online through the U.S. Marshals Service website. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
The investigation remains ongoing.
