OHIO — The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested 41-year-old Valerie Wyatt early Friday morning.
Wyatt was wanted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation linked to previous burglary, kidnapping, and abduction charges.
Authorities issued a warrant for Wyatt’s arrest in October 2024 after she failed to properly report to the Lake County Adult Probation Department. She had been on the run since then.
The NOVFTF began investigating Wyatt’s whereabouts in early March 2025 and named her “Fugitive of the Week” on March 17.
Their investigation led to her arrest earlier today in the 100 block of Richmond Rd. in Euclid. After her capture, she was transported to Lake County.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott praised the efforts of law enforcement agencies involved in the arrest.
“We are proud of the collaborative efforts of our team and the working relationships with our state and local partners. Cases such as this highlight these partnerships, and help make our community a better, safer place,” Elliott said.
Authorities encourage anyone with information about wanted fugitives to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED (1-866-492-6833) or submit a web tip. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
The NOVFTF – Cleveland Division includes multiple federal, state, and local agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, Cleveland Police Department, Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office, and other law enforcement partners across Northeast Ohio.
