TENNESSEE — A woman wanted for first-degree murder was arrested today by the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) in Memphis.
Anntenika Brown, 45, was taken into custody without incident at a residence on McCorkle Road after investigators with the USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) tracked her down.
Authorities say Brown initially provided false statements about her identity, but deputy marshals and task force officers confirmed she was the suspect in question.
She was transported to the Shelby County Detention Center.
Brown was wanted in connection with the January 13, 2025, shooting death of Jeffery Washington at a residence on Cottonwood.
An arrest warrant was issued the following day, and the TRVFTF took over the fugitive investigation.
The Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency unit operating in western Tennessee.
