
OHIO — U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested three people near Maumee earlier this week, according to a statement from the agency.
The arrests were made on Feb. 2 by agents from the Sandusky Bay Station, according to a post from the U.S. Border Patrol Detroit Sector’s official Facebook page.
Authorities said the three individuals were undocumented immigrants from Guatemala. Officials did not release their names or additional identifying information.
According to Border Patrol, one of the individuals was charged with felony re-entry due to prior immigration violations. All three are currently being processed for deportation.
No further details about the arrests or the circumstances surrounding them were released.
