Two winning Powerball tickets sold in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — Two Powerball tickets sold in York County each won $50,000 in Saturday’s drawing, lottery officials said.

One winning ticket was sold at Qbeex LLC, an Exxon store on Charlotte Highway near River Road in Fort Mill. The other was purchased at K&T Express LLC on West Liberty Street near Highway 321 in York.

Players have 180 days from the Sept. 13 drawing to claim their prizes.

The odds of matching the first five white ball numbers and the Powerball are 1 in 913,129, according to lottery officials.

The winning numbers from Saturday’s drawing were 28, 37, 42, 50, 53, and Powerball 19.
