OHIO — Traffic was severely disrupted Tuesday afternoon after a crash involving three semi-trucks shut down lanes of Interstate 275 in both directions.
Authorities said the call came in around 3 p.m. reporting a crash on I-275 northbound between Kilby Road and the I-74 interchange. As a result of the crash, northbound lanes were closed indefinitely, while southbound traffic was reduced to a single lane.
Two of the semi-truck drivers were transported to the hospital. Officials said their injuries are not believed to be serious. The condition of the third driver was not immediately released.
It remains unclear whether winter weather conditions played a role in causing the crash. The incident remains under investigation, and motorists are advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes.
