OHIO — A two-vehicle crash at a rural intersection Friday afternoon left one driver hospitalized and another treated at the scene, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the crash at approximately 3:55 p.m. on July 25 at the intersection of State Route 118 and Horatio Harris Creek Road.

Greenville Township Rescue and Greenville Township Fire also assisted at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate that 27-year-old Jill Sray of Dayton was driving a copper 2021 Chevy Trailblazer westbound on Horatio Harris Creek Road when she failed to yield at a stop sign.

Her vehicle collided with a gray 2017 Ford Fusion traveling north on State Route 118, driven by 25-year-old Trent Collins of Ansonia.

Both vehicles left the roadway following the collision.

Collins was treated and released at the scene. Sray was transported by Greenville Township Rescue and later transferred to a Miami Valley Hospital Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Her current condition has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
