OHIO — Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in south Toledo.
According to a press release from the Toledo Police Department, the crash occurred around 2:44 p.m. on Airport Highway near Bernath Parkway.
A vehicle was traveling westbound on Airport Highway when another vehicle, heading eastbound, attempted to turn left onto Bernath Parkway in front of it.
The two vehicles collided, and the driver and passenger of the eastbound vehicle were transported to the hospital with injuries related to blunt force trauma.
The crash remains under investigation by Toledo Police.
