OHIO — Two men were hospitalized and a driver was taken into custody after a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 71 that shut down lanes for about five hours early Sunday.
Emergency crews received calls around 12:30 a.m. reporting that a semi-truck, traveling without a trailer, had flipped over on the interstate. Cincinnati fire officials said the two men inside the truck were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Another vehicle was also involved in the crash. The driver of that car was taken into police custody, officials said.
The incident caused significant traffic delays as crews worked to clear the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
