KENTUCKY — Two people were seriously injured Thursday in a head-on collision on U.S. 23 near Rush Fork, according to W.R. Castle Fire-Rescue.
Firefighters said they responded to the crash shortly after noon. One of the drivers had to be freed from the wreckage using hydraulic rescue tools.
Emergency crews reported that one victim was taken to Pikeville Medical Center, while the other was flown to Cabell-Huntington Hospital.
