INDIANA — A serious crash involving a pickup truck and an SUV caused traffic delays for Wednesday morning commuters at the intersection of Indiana 43 and Tippecanoe County Road 900 North, according to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department.
The collision occurred around 6:40 a.m. Each vehicle had only one occupant at the time of the crash.
One driver was taken to IU Health Arnett Hospital, while the other was transported to Franciscan Health Hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
Although the crash caused significant congestion in the area, the roads remained open throughout the investigation.
By 9:40 a.m., traffic on both Indiana 43 and County Road 900 North had returned to normal.
The sheriff’s department continues to investigate the incident.
