GEORGIA — Two people were injured Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in front of the Inland gas station/Sun Stop, according to law enforcement officials.
Investigators said a red Toyota Corolla traveling east stopped at a stop sign but failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The Corolla struck a northbound black Ford F-350 on the driver’s side, causing the truck to leave the roadway on the east shoulder and overturn.
After the initial impact, the Corolla rotated and hit the Ford a second time, striking the rear driver’s-side tire before coming to rest in the median.
Police said both drivers were injured. The Ford driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. The Corolla driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
