
FLORIDA — A crash involving a school bus shut down part of Interstate 4 in Osceola County Wednesday morning, causing significant traffic delays.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 7:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 4between State Road 429 and World Drive.
Authorities said children were on the school bus at the time of the crash, but none were injured. Two adults involved in the crash were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Eastbound drivers were able to get around the crash using the two right lanes of I-4. However, officials reported major traffic delays in the ChampionsGate area as a result of the incident.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
