
VIRGINIA — A man and a woman were injured in a stabbing early New Year’s Day in Richmond’s Southside, according to police.
Officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 3400 block of Keighly Road at about 2:54 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1, following a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman suffering from apparent stab wounds.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated for injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
Police said investigators are not currently looking for any additional suspects. The incident remains under investigation.
