PENNSYLVANIA — Two people were injured during a stabbing incident overnight at a home in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood, according to police.
Pittsburgh police said officers responded to a report of a domestic altercation on Carrick Avenue around midnight. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound to the torso and a woman with facial injuries.
Investigators were told the stabbing occurred following an altercation between the two individuals. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment. Police did not release information on the severity of their injuries.
Authorities said the man involved in the incident is expected to face charges once he is released from the hospital. The investigation remains ongoing.
