OHIO — Two women are in serious condition after a stabbing early Wednesday morning on the city’s East Side, according to Cleveland Police.
The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 12400 block of Soila Avenue. Police said the victims, a 31-year-old woman and a 32-year-old woman, went to Cleveland Fire Station 41 at East 116th Street and Parkhill Avenue to seek help after being stabbed.
Firefighters provided initial medical care before Cleveland EMS transported both women to University Hospitals for treatment.
Police said a 19-year-old woman is in custody in connection with the case. No charges have been filed at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
