
SOUTH CAROLINA — Police are investigating after two men with gunshot wounds arrived at a Greenwood hospital Saturday afternoon.
According to the Greenwood Police Department, officers were called around 1:45 p.m. to an alley between West Cambridge and Stanley Avenue after reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found several spent shell casings at the scene.
While police were still investigating, dispatchers reported that two individuals had arrived at Self Regional HealthCare with apparent gunshot wounds. The 17- and 18-year-old males had driven themselves to the hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives with the Greenwood City Detective Division took over the investigation and are reviewing video surveillance and other evidence collected at the scene. Based on the evidence so far, police said the two individuals are not considered victims of a crime.
