
SOUTH CAROLINA — Two people were injured in a shooting early Thursday morning near the Green Sea area of unincorporated Horry County, according to the Horry County Police Department.
The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. off Circle Heights Drive.
Police said one victim was found at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital by emergency responders. The second victim later arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle.
One person is reported to be in critical condition, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, but authorities said there is no risk to the community at this time.
