Two people injured following shooting incident in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies are investigating a shooting that left two people injured Saturday near the Stop and Shop store within the city limits of Andrews, according to Sheriff Carter Weaver.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said a 19-year-old man was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound before being transported to a local hospital.

An 18-year-old man was also taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

Authorities say several vehicles in the area were damaged by gunfire.

Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.
