KENTUCKY — Two people were hospitalized following a shooting early Saturday morning near a restaurant in Old Louisville, according to police.
Officers with the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a reported shooting at Burger Boy in the 1400 block of South Brook Street around 3:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located a 50-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man who had both been shot in the leg.
Emergency medical services transported both victims to UofL Hospital. Police said both individuals are expected to survive.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident.
