INDIANA — Two people were hospitalized after an early morning shooting Tuesday on the city’s far east side, police said.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called around 2:20 a.m. to an apartment on Belhaven Place, near 10th Street and North Mitthoeffer Road, just east of Washington Square Mall.

Inside the apartment, officers found two adults suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were reported to be in stable condition.
