Two people injured following shooting incident in Georgia

GEORGIA — Two men were hospitalized following a shooting late Friday night at the Forsyth Gardens Apartments, according to the Forsyth Police Department.

Police say the shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. on June 20 in the 500 block of Cabiness Road.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found two male victims with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.

Investigators from the Forsyth Police Department responded to the scene, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has been called in to assist with the investigation.

The case remains under investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Lt. Thomas at the Forsyth Police Department at 478-993-1005.
