GEORGIA — Two people were injured in an overnight shooting in Atlanta, according to police.
Officers with the Atlanta Police Department responded around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to reports of a person shot at 431 Edgewood Avenue SE.
When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old man who was alert, conscious and breathing at the scene. He was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
Authorities said a second victim, a 30-year-old man, was also taken to a hospital by ambulance in stable condition.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation.
