GEORGIA — Two minors were hospitalized following a shooting early Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex in northwest Atlanta, authorities said.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 12:50 p.m. at the Fairburn Gordon Apartments.
At the scene, officers found two male victims: a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old.
Police said both boys were alert and conscious when first responders arrived. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an argument over a relationship. The department’s Aggravated Assault Unit is handling the investigation.
