
OHIO — Two New Philadelphia residents were involved in a traffic collision on Oct. 1 in Adams Township, according to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Ohio 751 and County Road 281. Authorities said Katherine Sinkovich, 55, was driving south on Ohio 751 when she attempted to pass a motorcycle turning left onto County Road 281.
The motorcycle, operated by Randolph McAfee, 68, was struck by Sinkovich’s vehicle, causing McAfee to be ejected. He was transported to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital for treatment of injuries, the extent of which has not been released.
Sinkovich was treated at the scene and released.
The Bakersville Fire Department, Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services and Prince’s Wrecker Service assisted at the scene.
