OHIO — Two men were injured in a drive-by shooting late Monday night at Hanna Park in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.

The shooting occurred just before midnight when someone opened fire from a white Honda into a crowd of 20 to 30 people gathered at Hanna Playground, police said.

One of the victims, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was transported by ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition.

The second victim, who was shot in the calf and arm, was taken by car to the same hospital and is also listed as stable. Both men are in their 40s.

Officers found at least 19 shell casings along Stark Street, where the shots were fired. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities have since cleared the scene, but crime tape remains around the entrance to the park.
