VIRGINIA — Two people were hospitalized after a double shooting in Richmond on Sunday evening, according to police.
The Richmond Police Department said the shooting happened around 6:07 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the 5100 block of Midlothian Turnpike. Officers found one adult and one teenager suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators said the victims described the incident as a drive-by shooting and told police they were unable to see the suspect.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the case remains under investigation.
