PENNSYLVANIA — Two people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a tree Monday morning in Lancaster County, according to emergency dispatchers.
The crash occurred at 8:41 a.m. in the 400 block of Long Lane near Millwood Road, close to Cherry Hill Orchards.
Authorities said a single vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, trapping both occupants inside.
Emergency crews responded and were able to free both individuals, who were then transported to a hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
Roads in the area were temporarily closed as crews worked to clear the scene. The Pequea Township Police Department is investigating the crash.
