MICHIGAN — Two senior citizens were critically injured Saturday morning after a semi-truck allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with their pickup truck, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash occurred around 9:37 a.m. at the intersection of M-91 and Kendaville Road. Police say a 36-year-old Louisiana man was driving the semi eastbound when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign and struck a northbound pickup.

Authorities said the woman was airlifted from the scene to a hospital by Aero Med. The male driver was also transported for medical treatment. Their current conditions have not been released.
