INDIANA — Authorities are investigating after two people were found dead inside a Floyd County home following reports of a shooting.
According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Georgetown-Greenville Road in Greenville, Indiana, after receiving reports of a shooting at a residence.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered two people inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said the victims were both males, but their ages have not been released.
Authorities also confirmed that another male was taken into custody in connection with the incident. Officials have not said whether the person is facing charges at this time.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office said all individuals involved in the situation have been accounted for.
Investigators said no additional details will be released at this time as the investigation continues.
