SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating after a husband and wife were found dead inside a home in Simpsonville on Tuesday, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the couple was discovered at a residence on Appian Circle.
According to officials, deputies were called to the home around 10:45 a.m. after a relative reported they had not heard from the couple.
Investigators said the case is being treated as a double death investigation.
Authorities noted they are not currently searching for any suspects and said there is no threat to the community.
No additional details, including the identities of the deceased or a possible cause of death, have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
