PENNSYLVANIA — Authorities are investigating after two women were found dead inside a home Wednesday morning in Jackson Township, Butler County.
According to state police, officers were called to a residence on Dior Drive to conduct a welfare check. When officials arrived, they discovered two women inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the discovery followed a separate investigation in Illinois involving a man who died by suicide. Hillside police in Illinois were able to identify the man and trace his address to the home on Dior Drive in Butler County.
Authorities believe the two women found dead in the home are related to the man who was found in Illinois.
Officials said there is no threat to the public and confirmed they are not searching for any additional individuals in connection with the incident.
